Rathaus (Cityhall) of Basel, Switzerland is quite original in desing. Red stone and allegorical colorful figures ornate the facade restored to re-create its appearance as in 1600. The tower and the left annexe were added in the 19th century. The Townhall is located in a popular square: the Market Square (Marktplaz). HDR image.
