A gallery of natural landscapes from my travels...
Eiger, Moench and Jungfrau are a chain of legendary mountains in the Bernese Alps in Switzerland. Jungfrau peak (4158m/13642ft altitude), not caught in this composition, but just to the right of the other two is the highest of them. However, Eiger (3970m/13025ft - on the left of the image) is very famous because of the innacessibility of its northen face, surprised in the image. This face was the last to be conquered in the European Alps, in 1938, and even today is most feared by climbers. Moench (4107m/13474ft - "the monk" in german language) is the right-most peak in this HDR image taken at night, with bright moon shining behind some thin cloud. The Jungfrau train line is visible at some places.
