Build to frighten or to charm the castles of Europe, but not limited to are simply imposing. Their number is countless and each of them is unique. I've made a hobby from visiting and photographing them...
The Cormatin Castle is located in the Bourgogne region of France in the department of Saone-et-Loire. It was build between 1606 to 1625 in rennaissace style for the Blé family. Today it is open to the public although still in private property and is listed as a historical monument. Beautiful gardens with fountains, ponds and mazes sourround the castle and its moat.
