Build to frighten or to charm the castles of Europe, but not limited to are simply imposing. Their number is countless and each of them is unique. I've made a hobby from visiting and photographing them...
In the vicinity of Lausanne, on Lake Geneva, the town of Morges is another lovely stop along the Swiss Riviera. An impressive fort, now hosting a military museum (Chateau du Morges) is guarding a lovely marina, specific to the ports on Geneva (Leman) Lake.
