Build to frighten or to charm the castles of Europe, but not limited to are simply imposing. Their number is countless and each of them is unique. I've made a hobby from visiting and photographing them...
The small pearl of Bavaria, this tiny Neo-Rococo style palace was build in 1874 by the eccentric King Ludwig II in a remote hunting area in the Bavarian Alps, Germany. It is surrounded by extensive garden grounds dotted with romantic small buildings and other attractions.
