Build to frighten or to charm the castles of Europe, but not limited to are simply imposing. Their number is countless and each of them is unique. I've made a hobby from visiting and photographing them...
A romantic lakeside castle, Schloss Oberhofen dates back to 12th century although suffered plenty of additions during the centuries of its history. It is situated on the shore of Lake Thunersee, close to the city of Thun, in Bern canton. The castle is currently an outpost of the Bernese History Museum.
