Build to frighten or to charm the castles of Europe, but not limited to are simply imposing. Their number is countless and each of them is unique. I've made a hobby from visiting and photographing them...
Chateau de Sully is the greatest of the Renaissance castles of southern Burgundy region of France and is located between Autun and Beaune in the department Saone-et-Loire. The current shape of the castle dates back to 1610, but it was build on top of a previous structure. Wide angle composition with the castle reflecting in the still waters of surrounding moat. On the left the main access bridge to the castle, while another bridge connects a corner. HDR image.
