Build to frighten or to charm the castles of Europe, but not limited to are simply imposing. Their number is countless and each of them is unique. I've made a hobby from visiting and photographing them...
Chateau de Syam in Jura department of France was build in 1818 by Denis Philibert Lapret for Emmanuel Jobez after the villa Capra (Rotonda) in Vicenza, Italy. Known also as the Palladian Villa, it is one of the most representative buildings in this style from France. Today, althought still in private property is declared a national mounument and open to the public for visiting. HDR image.
