The most recent visit to Japan was during the winter holidays of 2009-2010, and most of the pictures from this gallery date back from that period. They mostly cover Tokyo area.
Rainbow Bridge connecting Tokyo city with Odaiba Island almost blocking the mouth of Tokyo Bay was finished in 1993 and it soon became one of the city landmarks. In the current composition, Rainbow Bridge has in the foreground a number of restaurant-ships while the Tokyo's skyline (dominated by Tokyo Tower) provides the background. HDR image.
