The most recent visit to Japan was during the winter holidays of 2009-2010, and most of the pictures from this gallery date back from that period. They mostly cover Tokyo area.
One of the busiest intersections in the world is the intersection of Chuo-dori with Harumi-dori - Yon-chome crossing in Ginza, Tokyo. The San'ai building depicted in this image is one of the focal points of this intersection where land price is at its maximum in Japan. Ginza, ("silver place" in translation) is a very commercial district in Tokyo, Japan, named so because a silver mint operated in the area between 1612 and 1872 when the whole distric was destroyed by fire.
