The most recent visit to Japan was during the winter holidays of 2009-2010, and most of the pictures from this gallery date back from that period. They mostly cover Tokyo area.
The skyline of Yokohama - the 2nd largest city in Japan, located just south of Tokyo, as seen from the Yokohama International Passenger Terminal (Osanbashi Pier). The skyline focuses mainly on Minato Mirai 21 area which hosts the Landmark tower, the highest building in Japan (296m) as well as Queen Towers A, B and C, the Intercontinental Hotel Yokohama, Cosmo Clock 21 (ferris wheel) and the Red brick warehouses (Aka-renga Soko) in the foreground.
