When is neither day nor night; when the sun has set, but his light still lingers in the sky; when the street lamps are still warming up... It is the time to start installing my camera on the tripod...
Sunset over the western side of Zurich across the Limmat river in the vicinity of Munster Bridge. The focus point of this image is the Zunfhaus zur Meisen, late baroque house build in the 18th century as the guild house of the wine merchants, and, on its left the Fraumunster (Women Minster), one of many of Zurich's churches. Parts of this particular church date back to the year 853 when an abbey was founded on its spot. Some of the stained glass inside the church were design by Marc Chagall in 1970.
